Very poor communication on returning my car even when they promised to call resulting in picking my kids up very late from school. Over priced work. Will not use again.

On Tuesday 30th Jan I realised I needed an MOT before 7th Feb. Unfortunately I could only do certain times because of Hospital appointments. The 1st of Feb was my only appointment free day. They offered to collect and return my car, putting the key in a secure place if I was out. Suffice to say Addenbrookes decided to admit me on the 1st. Robbie’s collected my car on time (08.00) , I made it to the hospital , car passed its MOT and was back at my house by 09:40. I wasn’t chased to pay as they knew where I was. I was recommended Robbie’s for their friendly honest approach . As a new customer in the area I’m pleased I followed my friends advice. RECOMMENDED

What a fantastic family run business who go above and beyond , to sit in the waiting room and have a coffee and listen to how they help everyone who phones and comes in for car repairs is an outstanding service , a great family run business in the heart of Haverhill .
Had my wiper motor replaced, unfortunately they failed to refit gutter back correctly resulting in passenger footwell filling with water every time it rains due to gap between gutter and windscreen. Having spoke to them explaining why I could not return it to them as I lived opposite of country they said they would refund rectification cost at my local garage which they did. So full marks to them for that.

Asked for a quote, took 3 days to get it. Once I got it we booked a repair however, when we turned up they changed the price. Waste of time

I can't stretch enough how good this guys were providing an excellent service for repair, but unfortunately the comparison for service/price has gone below my expectations. Making some irrelevant charges for 15-20 mins job is not a rocket science.

Had my mot here today, first time using this company, always struggled finding a garage I trust! However felt at ease with robbies, from start to finish it was easy, booked in turned up felt very welcome and accommodated and was told exactly what was what, mot passed, the amount of garages out there that tell you false things is untrue, but not with these, highly recommended any work on my car needed I certainly will be going to them!
Thanks to Robbies. I also visited them previously. I went to check my car heating problem on 13th September 2022 at 9am. No issue identified. I am still happy about their services. Especial thanks to 'Richard' the car mechanic. Please someone say thanks to 'Richard' from Robbies. He explained me nicely about the heating issues and how to maintain it. - Jabed

Saved my bacon at Christmas. Visited family and heard a horrendous noise, called them up and the receptionist was so lovely - got me in straight away & diagnosed and fixed the fault all within a few hours. Will be visiting again 100% worth the drive
I'm not a regular person of Haverhill i was visiting and just leaving the area when a light came up on my dash and I didn't know where to go. I googled "nearest gaage" and read the lovely reviews of this garage and made my way up. I was literally blown away by the service. Saw to me instantly, put my mind at ease. And did not charge at all. I cannot believe this garage. I actually sat and cried in my car at how lovely they were. I would highly recommend. THANK YOU!
The service from this garage is second to none. My old garage sold up and put me onto these guys as I had a EML light come up and panic set in. The receptionist Lani, was just amazing, got me in, sorted me in such a quick manor I cant believe it. Will now always use and highly recommend.

I discovered my car had a leak in the boot and was seen to within a few hours, they are so thorough with their job, they took my car back a couple days later to do further checks and was able to fix the problem! Took my classic car to robbies for a wheel alignment as it was wondering all over the road. As I thought it was miles out. They managed to free off all the seized bolts and realigned it. it has totally transformed the way It drives all for a reasonable price.

What an awesome bunch . Had a good experience every time I have been there . Customer service on point . Lane the Reception lady waited two hours after work closed to give me my car, because I was stuck in traffic( over and above the call of duty) . I would recommend them to anyone . The mechanics are great to talk to and have the customers best interest at heart . I would have given a 10 star but it only goes to five . 20/03/2019 . Took my car for a service and as per the usual politeness to which I have grown accustom to getting my car done here , there is now a burger place available , portions are great, flavour awesome , who wouldn't want to inhale a burger while waiting for their car to be sorted . Those burgers are dead cheap as Well. 12/12/2019 had an emergency with my car just before the school run , who do you call ...well Lane is as usual a super star who just solved all my problems . She calmed me down , reassured me that everything is great and sent me on my way . Nothing phases them and they are always willing to help ..... business award of the year should go to them

This is also sometimes noticeable if accelerating through a wet corner having to balance the power to prevent understeer. These tyres therefore probably aren't best suited to EVs.
